God’s Sanctuaries

Three Great Sanctuaries

Welcome to a world of God’s Sanctuaries, where the journey is as fascinating as the destination, and where every moment is an opportunity to discover God’s marvelous handiwork and meticulous design of beauty and symbolism.

Solomon’s Temple

“2 Chronicles 7: As soon as Solomon finished his prayer, fire descended from heaven and burned up the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the Temple. 2 The priests could not enter into the Temple because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s Temple. 3 When all of the Israelis saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord resting[a] on the Temple, they bowed down with their faces[b] to the ground on the pavement, worshipped, and gave thanks to the Lord”

Ezekiel’s Temple

Ezekiel’s Chapters 40 to 48 contains Ezekiel’s detailed description of a tour he took through a temple in “the land of Israel”.

In Ezekiel 40:42 His guide, a heavenly messenger, measured every part of the temple, so Ezekiel’s description includes the size of the rooms, the walls, the doors, and so on. The temple he described was much like the temple of Solomon. More to follow soon.
